FOMO has taken over and more and more of the Retail budgets are being funneled into Social somehow. Imagine if my merchandising organization could hit 80% on trends. Retailers would be killing it. Like Gen AI, how does social improve what I need to do well to be successful as a retailer?
Well, and I thought the key part of the article actually was is it Pinterest unearthing predictions or are they manufacturing them? I thought that was very interesting as well. And agreed some sort of intersection with social with ai with planning - so ai as part of the planning process maybe, but not just for the sake of ai, but to supercharge retailer predictions and thus decisions on what they take to market and when.
